Find balance in the heart of the prairies

Located in the heart of Western Canada, Saskatchewan offers more than a career – it offers a high quality of life.
Known for its hospitality and friendliness, life in Saskatchewan is also something you can afford! In April 2025 the price of an average house (~2000 sq. feet) in Saskatchewan was £197,000.
Our average commute to work is only 20 minutes! Saskatchewan is 2.7 times the size of the United Kingdom with less than half the population.
Home to roughly 100,000 beautiful fresh water lakes with big sandy beaches. 1/2 of our provincial landmass is covered by forest, 1/3 is farmland and 1/8 is freshwater. We are known as the sunniest province in Canada, with nearly 2,400 sunny hours per year.

Benefits of making the move

Saskatchewan is filled with opportunity. Internationally trained health care professional looking for work in Saskatchewan’s health sector, may do so by becoming licensed in Saskatchewan, through training and or by an alternative career.
Saskatchewan’s Credential Recognition Services provide:
Navigation support: One-on-one assistance to help internationally trained workers understand regulatory requirements, complete foreign credential assessments, and become licensed to work in Saskatchewan.
Collaboration with regulatory bodies: Simplifying and streamlining the process to recognize credentials or transfer existing licenses, ensuring a timely and supportive experience.
Legislative protections: Limiting unnecessary or duplicative steps that could add time and costs to the process.
