Arcola’s heritage and scenic backdrop makes it the perfect setting for the 1976 film adaptation of W.O. Mitchell’s Who Has Seen the Wind, which featured many local landmarks and residents.

“Arcola offers a comfortable and convenient lifestyle. Physician housing is provided close to the hospital, and everything in town, from the grocery store to the post office is within a short walk. Nearby communities such as Carlyle (12 minutes away), Kenosee Lake (30 minutes away), and Weyburn (approximately one hour) offer additional amenities, while Regina and Brandon are within a two hour drive. The surrounding nature, particularly around Kenosee Lake, provided countless opportunities for family recreation and relaxation.
